Today i started my powerpoint for my preliminary task. I did about match on action, 180 degree rule and shot reverse shot.
180 degree rule
-The 180° rule is a technique that producers use when making films or TV episodes.
-The rule basically means that you have a conversation going and you only have cameras on one side of the two people, none on the others , so you can see the faces of both characters from both sides.
-If the camera does cross over the imaginary axis, connecting the two subjects, It is called “crossing the line”.
Match On Action
-Match on action occurs when an action that begins in one shot is continued or completed in the next. For example, Adam Sandler opening a front door to a house. In the next shot the camera, now indoors, photographs him entering the foyer and closing the door.
Shot Reverse Shot
-Shot reverse shot is a Filming Technique where one character is shown looking at another character, and then the other character is shown looking "back" at the first character. Since the characters are shown facing in opposite directions, the viewer assumes that they are looking at each other.
